Life is starting to slow down...

Now that life is slowing down...
I am almost done with school, which is probably what I should be doing.
I don't want to stress some more today.
So, here I am.
That butterfly feeling you get,
Just before something big happens
...
That is what is making me nervous today.
...
Life is about to completely change.
I will be working all day.
Kenny will be in school.
We will be moving from our new comfort spot.
...
It takes me awhile before I can really feel like I am home.
This is the first apartment that has been Home.
I am sad to be leaving the friends that I have made.
I am sad to be leaving the wonderful bishop in our ward.
...
I will cry when this place is empty and no longer mine.
I know the change ahead will be helpful and good,
Maybe tomorrow my heart will agree too.

Random...Missing My Prince

Anaheim is ringing for the next four days. The Barbershop Internationals are in Cali this year. Hangtime went as a part of the Salt Lake Chorus, The Saltaires. I don't know if they will place since they have decreased in size so much...but my Prince is stoked to meet up with old friends from his Washington Barbershop days. He is loving it. As bummed as I am that Nora and I didn't get to tag along but I am so glad that my Prince gets to experience the love that I have for Cali. One day we will get there...together.

Now...on to my other love...DANCE! So You Think You Can Dance? is amazing this season. The first week had me in tears. All of the dancers this season are phenomenal. I can't wait till cousin Rob gets to look them up on YouTube or audition when he gets home from the mish! (o; Since Nora I haven't gotten to dance much. First I was sad and throwing a little pity party that I was not up there with other BYU kids who auditioned in Salt Lake. That's when I realized that Nora was laying in my lap watching every second of it! Then I remembered how much holding Nora and swaying to music calms her down. My baby is a dancer...it is through her that I get to dance and she lets me dance with her all of the time. She is one of my favorite dance partners (o:

Get a Pair and Live. -Live.by J-

I'm at it again. My Live. shoes are ready to be drawn and worn! I am done drawing out design ideas and ready to start designing for real. Lots of people have approached me about selling my work and I decided to take them up on that. Here is a pair that I did for Kenny.

If you haven't seen my work in person before, I design white Vans that are unique to the wearer- no two pairs are the same. I find out about the wearer and create designs that fit their personalities and tastes. I tend to do shoes that are unique in a pair but can do them matching too...or a design that spreads across both shoes like a puzzle when put together...your choice.

If you would like a pair, shoot me an email at JKWiser@gmail.com and we can get things moving.

I will charge an additional $25 dollars, on top of the $42 Vans, for the work. If you would like another brand let me know and we will recalculate the cost.

Smiles over the Phone

I decided that I needed to call up Medicaid in order to get Nora's doctor things in order.
Since we have moved, mail time is more of a treasure hunt.
We still have mail going to the mortuary!
I have been on hold for over 15 minutes now...
even though the unfriendly computer voice told me it would only be 6 minutes.
Now the music has stopped (it was a good song too)
and there is no voice...
just ringing.
Maybe we should take all of the money going into making silly robots that can do and say everything for us
and
put the money toward personal skills
and smiley voices (o:
Waiting on the phone has allowed me to watch the sunshine start to really shine in the courtyard at school though.
That is always a welcome event.

Like Mother like Daughter

Prince Charming has found a new dancer in his life...NoNos. She giggles so hard when he does this now it is just to cute. When I make her do it she is not quite so charming. I guess she knows who her Prince is too (o:

And just for the record, Prince Charming is also a wonderful Daddy. He has been such a sweet help for me and NoNos in this whole getting used to being a parent and getting my former self back. He stayed up for two hours with me last night sweetly talking me through my frustrations that came out because of a paper and tons of reading (at least 400 pages last night) but the real root was that I didn't know what I wanted to do anymore. Needless to say, the answer was...the same thing I have always wanted to do...teach little bodies how to dance and see little eyes light up when they learn how wonderful books are. Tada...as Wall-E would say. Prince Charming has sure become a giant these last few weeks.

Grandma Shout out

This is a video we took of Nora and her amazing talking skills as of late. She is growing up so fast...tear :o( She is talking to Nana and Grandma here (o: LUVS!!!

Here is Nora...Sorry for the Wait

Nora is finally here!!! Actually, she has been here for almost a month...oops. She was born on December 17th at 9:40 AM. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 11 oz. and 19 in. long. She has quite a bit of dark hair, although it is getting lighter as the days go by. She is starting to get the red hair from her mommy...especially in her eyebrows...dang it. We still can't decide who she looks like. I guess she is just a pretty good blend of the two of us (o: We tried to compare her to our baby pictures but noticed that we looked a lot alike as babies...Heavenly Father has been planning this one for much longer than Mom and Carla were (o:
Saturday's Warrior is now playing "Our circle love..." giggle.

As for life now, we are both still in school...or the three of us are still in school since Nora comes too. Kenny's professors are awesome about Nora being in class and they think she is just so sweet...even when she is a little cranky. My professors have some sort stick somewhere...we got kicked out of class last week because Nora was trying to go potty (she was grunting (o: ). Oh well. Everything is going well though. We are in yet another new place now in Provo. We moved in on Christmas Eve in a world of snow. Mom Wiser came home with us after the holidays and helped us unpack everything...in just a few hours! We kept calling Mom Christiansen asking where everything was packed since she was such a blessing and packed the whole apartment when we got home from the hospital before break. As for finals...I still have one left that the professor is letting me take this week. Yeah for the nice professors!
**Suggestion: don't let any of your kids become english professors...they will have to be no-fun-grump-a-dump-a-saurus (that's a mom wiser funny)**

Here is a super cute pic of Nora that Kim Draper took at the Wiser family photo shoot.
